While a lot is spoken about women’s rights in India, the reality of the status of women is somewhere shadowed, particularly in rural areas. Gender inequality can be seen everywhere, be it in the workplace or household. The same can also be seen in the continuously declining female population over the last few decades. The condition of women in rural areas is worse than that of women in urban areas, owing to the lack of adequate education and healthcare facilities.
S.K Sharma Charitable Trust offers helping hands to women who want to become self-independent and bring a positive change in their life. We provide them the required education, training, and financial services so that they can find employment opportunities to improve their quality of life and our communities.
Handicapped
Education helps people understand the world around them and provides the knowledge to upgrade it into a better version. By opening the gates of knowledge to the disabled students, we make them overcome every problem life will throw at them. We work for the empowerment of persons with disabilities and the underprivileged by providing quality education, vocational training, healthy food, and accommodation. We enable persons with disabilities to get better growing opportunities so that they can keep pace with the rest of society.

The majority of children in rural areas, particularly the girls, are deprived of education. By providing them financial assistance and conducting scholarship programs, we ensure the right to education to all and let the underprivileged children keep pace with the rest of the world. Education is the best way to come on the upper side of the poverty line and to improve the quality of life.
Natural Calamities
Natural disasters cause the biggest loss in the world. People tend to lose their homes, belongings, and even their families due to calamities like earthquakes, floods, and tropical storms. The calamities are a threat to human life and the economy. We work towards mitigating the effects of natural calamities by providing food, clothing, and other essentials to people whose lives are affected by the calamity.
